Registration terms

Registration is open to anyone 18 years or older capable of safely completing a triathlon of equal or greater distance as the Ocean Lava Lanzarote Quarter Triathlon in the allotted time.

Sign Up fees - Individual & Relay (teams)

Individual until 1st of February 2013	60 €
Individual until 1st of September 2013	75 €
Individual until 30st of October 2013	85 €
Relay (complete team of 2 - 3 persons)	110 €

Licence

Each competitor needs a Triathlon licence.

If you don't have a licence you have to buy a Spanish Triathlon day licence at the online registration for 10 € valid for the event.

12:00 – 17:00  Athlete Registration, Hotel Fariones, Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen.

Friday, November 1st 2013

10:00 - 15:00 Athlete Registration, Hotel Fariones, Avenida de las Playas, Puerto del Carmen.

Keep in mind that there will be long waiting periods for registering on Friday - please register early.

15:00  Athletes Late Registration for participants arriving after 15:00 by ferry or plane only.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Any athlete wishing a refund may do so via written request by e-mail before September 1st 2013.
• A 50% refund of race price is given until September 1st 2013 or we offer to transfer your registration to Ocean Lava 2014.
• Any request sent to us after September 1st will not be considered for a refund.
• Contact the organization to pass your entry on to a friend or to transfer it for 2014.

Please bring the following to the race number pick up:

• Passport or ID
• Triathlon licence or 10 € for a one day licence

Race package

• Wristband (required at the Bike Chek-in, at the entrance of transition area and at the Awards ceremony dinner).
• Race numbers for bike helmet (to place on front and on the left side).
• Race numbers for bike (to place on your bike’s frame underneath the saddle).
• Race numbers & safety pins for run course.
• Maps
• Swim cap

ChampionChip & strap will be handed out at the Bike Check In.

Organization

Island Sports Events in cooperation with local clubs and townhalls.

Credit Card Payments

If you are using Visa or Mastercard for payment both might ask you for an additional security code (Visa Secure & Mastercard Secure Code) after introducing your credit card details. This code is not visible on your Credit Card. This code will only be needed if you have asked for it when you applied for your credit card (knowingly or unknowingly). If you cannot remember this security code please contact your bank or credit card institution.
